The Mercenary's Marriage coverThe Mercenary’s Marriage, Rachel Rossano

Brice was born a slave in a world ruled by men. She had almost made it to freedom when he caught her, the kings right hand man and personal bodyguard mercenary Darius. Darius caught Brice right before she ran into a group of ruthless soldiers, women were a prized commodity in a camp full of men. Only able to claim one prize at each battle he chose to claim Brice as his wife.

Bookswagger Marcia: The  Mercenary’s Marriage had a plot and I read it straight through. I just had to know how Brice and Darius would end up before I went to bed…So many people sleep on sweet romances, which I do not understand. The story of how the couple comes to be is the heart of a romance. Darius a former slave, confident yet awkward with the woman of his heart was well done, he was written they way I would want him to be. Brice a former slave and whipping girl did not trust Brice from the start, which made me sigh in relief and relax into the book, I realized this was going to be a good one. I hate when a captured female trusts her captor without question in the first 5 minutes. Bottom line check it out, I think you might like!
