The Geek Girl and the Scandalous Earl, Gina Lamm (Review)

The Geek GirlThe Geek Girl and the Scandalous Earl, Gina Lamm

Jamie Marten is the ultimate contemporary girl, she loves the online world of gaming and the advantages of an electronic society. She has been scrounging around in sweats and giving into her love of good gaming after a nasty break up. Her best friend twists her arm by way of holding her comic con tickets hostage to get her back into the world of the living, which is where she is sucked into the past.

Micah Axelby, Earl Dunnington is looking for a wife. He does not want to deal with another crazy mistress, the only role Jamie, who has a man’s name, would fit. Micah can’t help but be attracted to Jamie despite her claims she is from the future.

Bookswagger Marcia:  I was very excited about this title, loved the concept. Fans of historical romance fair warning please do not go into this one looking for all those regency details…this is not that book. This was a funny, light read, didn’t delve to deep into an intricate plot. For example, picture a 20 something new grad, without any skill, but likes to talk on her cell phone sent back in time, you don’t hate her and she is okay, you would help her up if she fell but you don’t want to follow her on facebook. You follow me, lol?
