A sequel to Biker’s Librarian. (While this book can be read as a standalone, your enjoyment will be enhanced by reading Biker’s Librarian first.)
As secretary of the Lords of Mayhem, Moose cherishes his freedom. But when his best friend gets engaged and he takes on the role of best man, chemistry explodes between him and Joey, the maid of honor. He’s torn between his need to roam and her hot, sweet love. The choice becomes even harder when unexpected complications arise.
As the daughter of a reformed motorcycle club whore, Joey has always been fascinated by the lifestyle and wondered about her absent father. When the sparks fly between her and Moose, she finds herself drawn deeper into the world that nearly destroyed her mother. As Joey struggles to find her place in Mayhem and Moose’s heart, the past comes to call and threatens to destroy it all.
Reader Advisory: This story has graphic sexual language and scenes—no closed bedroom doors (or other rooms) here!

Joey and Moose are fascinating characters. Joey is the cool chick, the good girl with secrets even she does not know she has. She fits into the lifestyle making no demands on Moose. It is all in the name of good fun, but that can only go on so long, especially when feelings start to get involved. Joey handles it like a grown woman though, if she were my friend I would have thrown my fist up in pride. She makes Moose doubt himself and what he wants, which is his freedom. Of course he is the man right, so he does not want commitment, he wants to live free, blah, blah, only his brothers at his back.

Well bulls*%t, dude falls for Joey and goes hard for her despite the problems she brings to his MC because of her past View Spoiler ». Moose is written extremely sexy, so why this is not a five star you ask.

There was more repetition than I wanted to read (personal opinion) I mean Moose, equaled commitment issue, got it and understood it. There is always something deep keeping the hero and heroine apart, but dude was kind of bitching about it too much.

On a side note Colt delivered on fantastic background characters and I would love if the series included a story on Joey’s mother and father, it is hard to find unique stories involving older characters who are realistic and hot, plus she has already wonderfully set the back-story up, no need to waste it.

I’m gonna have to give this series a try. I have her other MC romance on my tbr list to read too. I like the the heroine gave the hero a run for his money…girl power!

I know, she was very spunky and had attitude. But her mother had her beat by miles. I hope she does her story. I really want to read about the grown folks. I think it would be a good one.
