Reaper’s Property, Joanna Wylde (Review)

Bad Boys of Romance and Reaper’s Property

I love alphas, nerds and a lot of men who fall in between but there is something about a bad boy that only you were woman enough to tame. So here is a hop dedicated to all those Bad Boys (in my Diddy voice although I still think of him as Puff Daddy). Here is a good read I read not too long ago.

Reaper’s Property, Joanna Wylde

Reapers propertyMarie is living with her brother, not the most responsible or honest of men but he has always been good to her.  She is just getting out of an abusive marriage and flat broke so the last thing she needs is a man like Horse who runs with the Reapers Motorcycle Club, a biker gang. Well the Reapers have a code of their own and nothing is higher than a man’s old lady and Marie just might get the chance to find out what it feels like. If she can survive rival gangs and Horses biker honor which pits him against her brother.

Bookswagger Marcia: The beginning is a little confusing, it was almost like reading a book with a few pages missing but despite all that I really enjoyed the book. It would have been perfect if not for the first few chapters. This is not a pansy biker hero story.  I really think the author has to have some experience with the lifestyle that is how layered and well plotted Reaper’s Property is (minus the uh oh in the beginning). Marie and Horse both have stereotypes to overcome in order to be together and it was great to read about.

So to sum it up, picture girl in trailer because of loser ex, living with douche of a brother, meet hot biker, sweeter than he looks and acts, misunderstanding because duh this is romance, motorcycle, bullets, motorcycle, HEA…The end.

I loved it, I mean she really drew me in. This was not a biker erotic romance which I am seeing a lot of. She had the lifestyle down good and bad. I was scared lol.

I love the bad boys, whether they be shifters, aliens, doms, or cowboys. And since I only read romances with a happily ever after, they keep me coming back for more. We know that underneath that bad boy exterior lies a hero who is strong, sexy, loyal, confident, and protective of their woman even when they KNOW she can kick some major ass.
Thanks for being part of the hop and for the chance to win.

Exactly, the appeal of a bad boy in romance is we know that he is going to have his womans back 100% and even if he is still bad he is good where and when it counts!

Everybody loves a bad boy especially an alpha. One of the best things in a book is to fina a bad boy who has a layer of sweetness underneath that only the right woman can find.

No one really knows my bad boys. I’m a geek and I love anime. I love the anti-hero, and so far, I’ve not found better examples than Lelouch from Code Geass and Light Yagami from Death Note. They are bad boys you really, really wish you could side with, but at the same time, you know their methods are completely wrong. I guess I like rather dark bad boys ;P

Anyway, thanks so much for the giveaway 🙂

Mmmm… bad boys. Excuse me while I salivate. To pick just one bad boy is so very hard, but I will try! I enjoy Christian Grey (who wouldn’t? Am I right, ladies?). His compulsive need to control is scary and hot all at the same time. Another bad boy who has me slobbering all over myself is Travis from “Beautiful Disaster!” A man who makes a living by punching the shit out of another man!?!?! Hold me back! Thanks for the giveaway! It’s always a pleasure for me to participate in these, especially when the topic is so utterly delicious.

You know, I dont want to call anyone out but where a author just makes the hero a biker because he is supposed to be a bad boy and it just does not fit or makes sense and we never see the dude on the bike, ever! Lol. But on the cover he is sitting on a bike.
