Wolf’s Haven (Caedmon Wolves), Ambrielle Kirk (Black Friday Blog Hop)

Tamara is on the run from her boyfriend, she finally finds a way to escape him during a robbery. Hurt and on the run, her only companion a large wolf with green eyes. Upon awaking, instead of a wolf she finds his owner Devin with the same gorgeous green eyes. Devin’s father has passed and now the pack wants him to assume his role as alpha. Responsibility for a pack his father kicked him out of for being a bastard is not something he wants to assume. He would rather stay in his cabin with the woman who is driving his wolf to mate.

Bookswagger Marcia: The story was enjoyable and I did like the shifter world created, I just found it to not be as fulfilling as I would have liked. I was drawn into this story from the very beginning, I wanted to know how the heroine Tamara would get out of her extremely difficult situation and then when she is introduced to the shifter world, I clutched my kindle waiting for fireworks. I think the word count held this story back, I just felt there were so many details were I was giving a tidbit or hooked but then let down because it was not explored further. Hopefully the series will continue to expand upon the Caedmon wolf world.

Bookswagger Danielle: I really enjoyed this book, my main problem was it wasn’t long enough. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem, I wanted more and found myself double and triple checking to make sure there really wasn’t anymore to read. The author gave just enough to get me hooked and make me want to know about the characters future. Tamara was an intriguing character and not one I would think I’d go for. On the surface when I think of an abused woman I think of someone who doesn’t have a strong sense of self and I like my heroine to be kick ass chicks. Surprising Tamara had me revising my opinion and I was definitely a fan.  Devin was exactly what I liked in a hero, strong, and he proved it multiple times in the story without being obnoxious. I’m looking forward to more from this author, I was impressed.

It is the craziest day of the year I tell you. I had some friends from out of the country visit during Black Friday, they couldn’t believe how crazy it got over here lol.

There is nothing in the stores that I can’t find online cheaper and since I think I look great with everything attached, I’ll stay in and watch the crazies on tv.

Thanks for the giveaway. I used to be a regular Black Friday shopper but the crowds grew too big and the hours far too early. Ugh! I’d rather stay home and read 🙂

Your are not missing nothing, those were the days my mother use to drag me with her…Those days are long over. No one can make me now…Well she still can, mother guilt you know. But I have been holding strong and talking her out of going.

This is the BEST way to spend Black Friday. Sitting at home, hopping with old friends and making new ones. I can’t handle the crowds anymore so I only do Black Friday shopping online if I do any. I tend to pick up gifts throughout the year so come November I’m finished. That way I can spread out the purchasing and not spend a fortune at the time of the year when my job is at its slowest and my paycheck is at its lowest. 🙂 I follow you via email. Thanks for being part of the hop and for the chance to win.

That is great, I am lucky I do not have a lot of people to shop for or I would be screwed because I tend to wait till the last minute. I was a little better this year hopefully one day I will be more like you. Thanks for stopping by, nice to see you again.

I am so happy to be on this hop and not at the mall or some other horribly crowded shopping establishment! Thanks so much for giving us non-shoppers something to entertain ourselves with AND prizes. Greatest Black Friday ever.

    Happy Holidays,

I do not like crowds so BF shopping is not for me! I will be spending my day hopping and then snuggled up reading! Well that is after I decide on what new book I have just added to my to be read list! It gets longer every hop! Thanks!

I am thankful for all the wonderful books I am finding on the hop!

I am home! I don’t do the big crowds even if the bargain is a good one. I’ll shop online and can get the same satisfaction with no must no fuss!

A one day hop is insane but fun! Thanks for the opportunity to share,

I no longer go Black Friday shopping. Too many crazy people out there. I don’t have the patience I had when I was younger, LOL. So today I am staying in and blog hopping, instead of shopping! angadair@nwcable.net Thanks for the hop!

  16. Katie Amanda

Thanks for participating! I went out shopping and came home with conditioner, tape, an ornament, and wrapping paper. I found it to be much easier to buy the supplies to wrap the gift than actually buying the gifts. LOL I’m just going to shop online.

I love shopping on Black Friday. I live in a small town so most of the people are very friendly, they even say excuse me when they try to push you out of the way to get what they want. lol

Happy Black Friday and thanks for the chance to win some great prizes! I don’t really do Black Friday. I’m an online deal shopper and prefer not to mess with the crazy mass of people all trying to get a bargin!
