Bookswagger Marcia: I wanted to give Bachelor Unclaimed a fair shot so when I was unable to finish I let a friend borrow the book because I wanted another opinion. Unfortunately she is still trying to finish the book because she is very nice and wants me to be able to say something nice about the book which I agree with. So here goes: Bachelor Unclaimed is the start of a new series featuring successful brothers who are brothers by choice if not by blood who met in college. The premise sounds interesting. The heroine has a unique back-story she is vacationing needing a break after a nasty run for mayor in her home town. Unfortunately I just could not get into the book after multiple attempts and I prolonged this review long enough. If you enjoyed the read please drop a line because other readers may want to hear what you thought. Oh and there was a lot of in-between the sheet scenes but I could not force myself to read on…Sorry I feel like I failed you.

I’m sorry you are so disappointed about not finishing the book. Sometimes it’s like that. I read Bachelor Undone- I think it was the third of the series and I really liked it. In this book there was Jamaica and some mystery. My one complaint was that there was a lot of excessive sex, and if they weren’t having it they were talking about it. But overall I thought the book was good.

Ya, I can read across the board sex to close door and one thing I like about closed door is the focus on the subtle parts of the relationship. But I just was not feeling this book and the things I wanted to know more about are the parts I thought was the most interesting like a woman running for mayor in her small town and losing was not really the plot. But oh well, one thing about the romance genre now there is something for everyone and I am sure this book is for someone!
