I am actually down with all of these options! 😮 As long as I love the characters I don’t need a specific race to be behind them.

Cool just wondering if you have a favorite. I know I like it when a witch or wizard is with a human I notice I automatically read the back-cover for those titles. I mean there is just a whole lot of explaining when introducing someone magic.

      1. Jessica Noreault

Oh, you’re right. I do love it when a person is freshly introduced into magic.

  2. Veronika

I love the wizard and human relationships the best! But all the options are awesome! I like everything paranormal. Thank you for the giveaway!

  3. mikilectureaventure

i’m not difficul wich or wizard with human is great or with another parabnormal creature ( though witch and wizard doesn’t seem as appealling to me)
    thank you for the giveaway

  4. Tiffany Horton

I love witches or wizards with other paranormals the most but I do like them all. One of my favorite series is about a half-fae, half-witch and she dates a dragon, a fox spirit, and another kind of paranormal creature that I don’t know how to describe. But it’s pretty great!

I like them all but to pick 1? Hmm witch & a human.
    Thanks for this giveaway!

I think it’s great when you have an ‘insider-outsider’ story to start a series – once is in the magical world, the other is not. Typically, the audience finds out about the magic world through the outsider.

    1. bookswagger

Exactly once I think you hit the nail on the head. If I am new to the world it is nice to see it through a character who is also new to that world. Once you are in the series it is nice to see them mate up with other magicals or paranormal species.

  7. tanna4abak

I like all the options, but my favorite would be #4 A witch or wizard with a paranormal. Thanks for being part of the hop and for the chance to win.

  8. Lily B

oh gosh I kind of like all of them really. I love books with magic in them period, and any of those options is fun. Witch and Human would be amusing I am sure 😉

  9. Renata S

I like all kinds of paranormal romances, but I prefer the ones in wich a human lady falls in love with a wizard or any other paranormal creature.

  10. Cindy Barton

I kinda like the pairing of a witch/human….brings back memories of the Samantha and Darrin from Bewitched. I like the surprises in store for the human.

  11. Denise Z

I love to read about witches, the partner paring does not much matter to me as long as it is a good storyline with lots of magic 🙂 Thank you for participating in this awesome hop.

  12. cindi169

A witch and a wizard. It’s important that a couple be on equal footing. With a witch and human one of them has to adjust to the other’s powers or non-powers.

  13. Janie McGaugh

It really depends on the universe. They can all make good stories. I’ll go with a witch and a human.

  14. Judy-Ree

Witch or Wizard with another paranormal. Preferably ones that aren’t exactly allies. More fireworks, yeah!!!

Bookworm (dot) judy (at) gmail (dot) com

  15. Beth Gallinger

I’ll take any combination of witches, wizards, and humans. (my gmail is win4xmas)

  16. Janhvi

I always love it when two very different people it may be race, ethnicity or species fall in love with each other. As long as I get romance I wouldn’t mind reading it 😉

    justjanhvi at gmail dot com

  17. Krista

I like Wizard & Witch and Wizard and human. And anything involving a vampire 🙂
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  18. Amanda D

My favorite paranormal is a vampire so I would pair a witch with a vampire. Thank you for the giveaway.

    1. bookswagger

Yes I feel like vampires and witches are the founders of paranormal so to speak. People have always been interested in them. I mean Dracula, witch trials and that was not even the beginning.

  19. KYLA WHITLEY

witch and human or wizard and human. much more interesting that way. 🙂
    jukyjoauka at aol dot com

  20. Meghan Stith

I like one to human and the other to be something supernatural!
This is an awesome blog hop! I’m a big fan of supernatural books especially romantic ones. I love magic and I love that you never know what people’s abilities are going to be. It leaves so much more open to guessing because the world that the author builds all of a sudden does NOT follow our world’s rules. I love when people can listen to thoughts or move things with their minds. I also think being able to control other’s emotions would be a handy gift. Probably my favorite books involving people with magic are ‘Beautiful Creatures’ and ‘Poison Study.’ It must be hard to be responsible for such power. I love when Lena from ‘Beautiful Creatures’ is trying to harness all she has. It’s something akin to the awkwardness we all go through in middle school in which we are trying to figure out who we are.
Thanks for the giveaway and I’m gonna keep on hopping!

    1. bookswagger

Thanks for stopping by Meghan. I like human and a other as well. It just makes the story much more interesting and the two not only have to deal with their worlds rules but the differences they each have and I guess since we are human it can sometimes be fun to relate to that human characters and see the world through their eyes. I have not read Beautiful Creatures but everyone who I know have read it loved it. I enjoyed reading you comment!

  21. Nikki O

I don’t mind any of them really. But mostly Witch or Wizard with another paranormal or wizard with a human!

    1. bookswagger

Me to I always like a human somewhere in the mix but number four is great to. I just seem to be drawn to those stories more even though I have love for them all.

  22. donnablhmistress

I love all those options but I think I lean more towards witch with other paranormal though I do like wizard with Human as well.

    vampiremistress2010(at)gmail(dot)com

  23. BookLady

I enjoy all the options, but my favorite is paranormal with human.
    bhometchko(at)hotmail(dot)com

  24. mabledsoe

I like to read all combinations of Paranormal beings. I find though that I like witches more than warlocks..weird I know.

I like your blog and the post about Amazon. I never knew how the international shipping aspect of it worked, I found it very interesting. Thanks for stopping by I look forward to more posts on your blog.

      1. neenz87

Thank you so much for the feedback!. I highly appreciate it :). I searched around a lot, for guidance on shopping from Amazon and found none that really helped. So once I finally did my shopping (with fingers crossed that the items would reach me!), I thought it necessary to put up a ‘How to’ post on it!

        1. bookswagger

Lol…I am sure people loved it. Sometimes we get caught up in our own world and never think about how something is done somewhere else, I love it and love your style.

  26. Jeannie Platt

I like them all but have to say i love the witch/wizard and other combo… Makes for interesting reads based on different “cultures” and sometimes enemies falling in love.

    j.m.platt83@gmail.com

  27. sherry1969

All of the options are pretty good but my favorite is Witch or Wizard with another paranormal (shifter).
    sstrode at scrtc dot com

  28. anasnotes

Witch and Wizard, or Witch/Wizard with another paranormal. I’m usually not a fan of a paranormal pairing up with a human (especially if the paranormal is immortal and the human not).

    1. bookswagger

Ya, it could be sad and then we have to figure out how to make the human immortal. I can see how that could be a drag but some of my fav or like (Kresley Cole) but in the end they turned out to be something more when I look back.

  29. Dovile

My top preference is Wizard and Human. I don’t really care for Witch and Wizard pairing, I guess it’s difficult for me to relate to that. Thank you for the chance!

    spamscape [at] gmail [dot] com

  30. Celina K

Going to go with Witch and Wizard. Conceptualizing all options in my head, that one had the best story 🙂

    dreammie_angel at yahoo dot com

  31. Stephanie

While I like any combination, if I had to pick a favorite it would probably be witches and other paranormals. Of course maybe I’m biased thanks to Kim Harrison’s Hollows series.

  32. Diane Sallans

I love stories about a good witch – so much fun with the magical powers – makes you wonder ‘what if I could do that’!
